Ampere Engineering delivers off-road electrical systems and custom wiring solutions for ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides, including:
Off-road vehicles demand electrical systems that survive dust, water, vibration, heat, and shock. We design installations that are clean, protected, and built for long-term durability.
Whether you ride dunes, rocks, woods, or trails — your electrical system should be as tough as your machine.
Ready to catch problems before you pay for official lab time.
Ampere Engineering provides home pre-screen emissions testing for small builders and early prototypes, helping you identify noisy frequency bands and likely coupling paths up to 26.5 GHz, including:
This is a practical pre-check service designed to produce accurate, repeatable results with controlled setups and documented configurations. It is not certification, but it can save time and money by reducing failed lab runs.
Built to keep you riding when the electronics do not.
Ampere Engineering troubleshoots and repairs e-bike electrical issues like no power, no charge, cutouts, and error codes. We focus on clean fixes that restore reliability and prevent repeat failures, including:
E-bikes live in heat, water, vibration, and shock. We build repairs that are protected, serviceable, and dependable, so your bike works like it should—day after day.

Welcome—I'm Brandon, the owner and founder of Ampere Engineering LLC, based in Spring Hill, Kansas. I built this business for people who want electronics and electrical work done the right way: clear troubleshooting, clean workmanship, and solutions that last. Not the quick-and-dirty, it-will-do type of work.
My background started early—at about age 5 I was around computers every day in my family’s repair and sales shops. That turned into an apprenticeship through high school, followed by a Military career and work as an EMS Medic, where reliability, safety, and calm problem-solving mattered. After that, I opened and operated a consumer electronics repair shop in Arkansas for 10 years, handling everything from “won’t power on” devices to board-level failures. Combined with over 16 years of graphics, web, and design work, I bring the perfect blend of knowledge and skills to tackle any challenge.
Today, Ampere Engineering blends hands-on repair experience with RF engineering expertise—including Bluetoothand wireless integration, EMC/EMI troubleshooting, and IPC-certified electronics workmanship. I also hold an BS Electronic Engineering degree and 3M certification, and I’m passionate about motorcycles—so our motorcycle, powersports, and e-bike services are built around clean installs, proper protection, and long-term reliability.
What customers can expect
If you’re not sure what you need, reach out. Describe the issue, share a photo if you can, and I’ll tell you the best next step—whether that’s repair, install, or a better alternative.

We perform precision micro soldering and component level PCB repair to restore electronics that others replace. From cracked pads and lifted traces to connector damage and power faults, we troubleshoot at circuit level and repair with workmanship practices aligned with IPC guidance (e.g., IPC-7711/7721, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
Ampere Engineering emphasizes quality, traceability, and safe workmanship. We reference ISO/IEC/IPC standards where applicable — not as marketing fluff, but as the baseline for documentation discipline, electronics rework practices, and consistent service outcomes.
Not guessing — diagnosing. We isolate faults with data driven testing, inspection, and measurement to identify root cause before any repair work begins. Our documentation and workflow follow disciplined quality principles inspired by ISO 9001 style process control so results are repeatable and verifiable.
We support ECU and control module repair and rework where practical, including connector damage, failed regulators, corrosion recovery, and circuit reconditioning. Repairs prioritize electrical integrity, thermal reliability, and proper rework practices aligned with IPC standards so the fix lasts.
Professional electrical installs for bikes and vehicles — accessories, lighting, power distribution, and clean integration that avoids hack wiring. We build for durability with correct protection, routing, strain relief, and serviceability, using engineering discipline rather than “shop shortcut” installs.
Custom wiring solutions for new builds, repairs, and upgrades — including harness building, connectors, and re-termination when OEM wiring is compromised. We focus on reliability, noise control, and long term maintainability, with workmanship expectations aligned to IPC/IEC best practices (as applicable).
IPC-A-610 – Electronic assembly acceptability
IPC J-STD-001 – Professional soldering requirements
IPC-7711/7721 – PCB rework and repair standards
IPC/WHMA-A-620 – Wire harness and cable workmanship
This ensures clean solder joints, proper wire termination, and reliable long-term performance — not temporary fixes.
ISO 9001 principles applied – Structured quality control and documentation
ISO/IEC 17025 testing methodology principles – Measurement integrity and validation discipline
Every project is approached with documented process control and inspection standards.
FCC Part 15 principles
CISPR 32 EMC practices
IEEE 802 wireless validation frameworks
With a background in Bluetooth RF validation and compliance testing, Ampere applies real-world spectrum analysis and emissions discipline — not guesswork.

Your vehicle or electrical system is built to be safe, serviceable, and correct.
We measure.
We document.
We build to engineering-grade expectations.
No shortcuts. No guesswork. No subscription traps.
Just precision electrical work done correctly the first time.
