Ampere Engineering helps get e-bikes back on the road when the electronics stop cooperating. If your e-bike will not power on, will not charge, cuts out, throws errors, or loses power under load, we troubleshoot the real cause and repair what is repairable with clean, reliable workmanship.
We focus on the electrical and electronics side of e-bike problems.
Common issues we fix
Diagnostics and fault isolation
Wiring and connector repair
Controller, display, and electronics repair

We focus on the electrical and electronics side of most consumer e-bikes. Contact us with the brand and model so we can confirm fit.
Yes. Intermittent faults are common and usually trace back to wiring, connectors, sensors, or power drop under load.
Yes. Charger issues and charge port issues are common, and bringing it helps confirm the real cause.
Turnaround depends on workload and parts availability. You will get a realistic timeline after diagnostics.
Warranty coverage depends on the repair type, board condition, and whether prior damage exists. You will receive warranty terms at approval.
Yes. We can recommend mitigation approaches and also support engineering changes like filtering, grounding strategy, cable management, enclosure improvements, and power integrity direction.
No. We never splice a wire that has suffered damage. Our approach is always to run new cables that are custom and in stock to ensure proper performance.
We only proceed with repair after diagnostics confirm a clear path forward. Some devices are not economical to repair, and we will be upfront about that.
Clear fault isolation and repairability assessment before any work begins.
Quick evaluation for common issues, connector checks, and basic power path validation.
Deeper troubleshooting for intermittent cutouts, complex faults, or multi stage issues.
Charging system checks, voltage drop checks, and harness inspection for reliability issues.
Most failures start at the mechanical wear points. We replace and reinforce connectors correctly.
Repair a small section of damaged wiring or a simple connector issue.
Multiple fault points, damaged routing, or intermittent breaks requiring deeper work.
Replace a damaged connector with proper strain relief and secure finishing.
Precision component level repairs under magnification with clean workmanship.
Fault isolation and correction for sensor or signal issues.
Display errors, power loss to display, or control input issues.
Bench evaluation where applicable plus install support and functional verification.
Power path issues, short circuits, and charging failures diagnosed at the circuit level.
Short detection and isolation on boards that blow fuses, overheat, or fail power-up.
TVS, fuse, ESD, and protection part replacement with root cause checks.
PC Corrosion spreads fast. Cleaning and remediation can prevent repeat failure.
Board cleaning, inspection, and corrosion assessment.
Includes cleaning plus board-level rework for affected circuits and connectors.
Aftermarket install with rated load wiring.
Basic install such as lights or USB power with proper protection.
Multiple accessories, switching, routing, and power management integration.
Notes and Limits Diagnostic fees are required before repair work begins Pricing is per bike and scope, complex systems may require additional time Some failures are not economical to repair; we will tell you up front We focus on electrical and electronics, not full bicycle mechanical service Battery Safety Note For safety, we only service batteries and power systems that can be handled and inspected safely. If a battery shows signs of swelling, overheating, burning smell, or physical damage, stop using it and contact us before bringing it in.

We support schools and education institutions with reduced pricing when possible. Contact us with your organization name, department, and project needs so we can provide education pricing and scheduling options.
