Discover the Difference of Ampere Engineering

Ampere Warranty - Lifetime for all services

Ampere stands behind the quality of its workmanship for as long as you own the bike, vehicle, or consumer device serviced by Ampere. If a defect in our workmanship causes the same repaired or installed item to fail, we will inspect it and make it right.

What “lifetime” means

“Lifetime” means for as long as the original customer owns the specific bike, vehicle, or consumer device listed on the invoice. This warranty is not transferable.

What is covered

This warranty covers defects in Ampere’s workmanship on the specific work shown on your invoice, including:

  • Electrical repairs and troubleshooting corrections performed by Ampere
  • Accessory installation workmanship
  • Custom wiring, harness repair, terminals, connectors, routing, mounting, and assembly performed by Ampere
  • Consumer electronics soldering, connector replacement, board-level repair, and reassembly performed by Ampere
  • Wrap, film, and PPF installation workmanship performed by Ampere, where the issue is caused by Ampere’s prep or installation

What is not covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, aging, cosmetic wear, fading, yellowing, oxidation, corrosion, or deterioration over time
  • Battery aging, reduced battery capacity, consumables, fuses, bulbs, adhesives, coatings, and wear items unless specifically stated otherwise in writing
  • Damage caused by crash, impact, abuse, misuse, neglect, overheating, liquid intrusion, contamination, power surge, rodent damage, theft, fire, weather, or acts of God
  • Damage caused by racing, competition, commercial use, fleet use, rental use, or use outside the product’s intended design
  • Pre-existing damage, hidden damage, or unrelated failures outside the exact area repaired or installed by Ampere
  • Failures caused by defective OEM parts, defective aftermarket parts, prior poor repairs, or later modifications not performed by Ampere
  • Software, firmware, data loss, or configuration issues unless specifically listed on the invoice as part of the service
  • Customer-supplied parts themselves; however, Ampere’s installation workmanship of those parts remains covered
  • Wrap or film damage caused by rock chips, abrasion, chemical exposure, improper washing, pressure washer misuse, poor paint, prior bodywork, or repainting after installation
  • Standalone diagnostics, opinions, estimates, or “no fault found” evaluations, except to the extent Ampere later performed covered repair workmanship in that same area

Aftermarket parts or outside service

Using aftermarket parts or another repair shop does not by itself void this warranty. However, this warranty does not cover failures, damage, or diagnosis complications caused by incompatible parts, tampering, outside repairs, or later modifications after Ampere completed the original work.

What Ampere will do

If Ampere determines the problem is covered, Ampere will, at its option:

  1. Re-perform the covered service at no labor charge
  2. Repair the affected area at no labor charge
  3. Replace the specific Ampere-supplied part or material involved with the same or a comparable item, if needed and reasonably available

Limits of remedy

This warranty is limited to the original work area and original service performed. It does not cover incidental or consequential losses such as towing, downtime, lost use, rental costs, shipping, travel, lodging, lost income, lost business, or data loss.

How to make a claim

To request warranty service, contact Ampere as soon as possible after the issue appears and, where possible, within 30 days of first noticing the problem. You must provide:

  • Your original invoice or proof of service
  • The covered bike, vehicle, or device for inspection
  • A reasonable opportunity for Ampere to inspect the item before additional repair work is performed by someone else

If Ampere cannot verify the original failure because outside work was done first, coverage may be denied to the extent that outside work prevents diagnosis.

Invoice-specific exceptions

Some jobs may carry different or additional terms because of customer-supplied parts, competition use, salvage equipment, prior damage, specialty materials, or manufacturer restrictions. If so, those terms will be stated on the invoice and will control for that job.

This is a Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Except where prohibited by law, this is the exclusive written warranty provided by Ampere for the covered service. Any manufacturer warranty on parts or materials remains separate from this workmanship warranty.

Here is the shorter version for your pricing pages or checkout:

Every paid Ampere repair or installation includes a Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty for the original owner. If something we repaired or installed fails because of our workmanship, we’ll fix the covered issue for as long as you own that bike, vehicle, or device. See full warranty terms for exclusions and claim instructions.
