Ampere Engineering provides engineering grade diagnostics and component level PCB repair for consumer electronics, modules, and controllers. We focus on root cause troubleshooting, clean rework, and long term reliability, not quick swaps.

Most jobs start with a diagnostics fee based on complexity
If repair is approved, the diagnostic cost can be applied toward the repair when applicable
Some boards are not economical to repair, we will tell you that up front

Privacy first handling

We only access what is required to diagnose and verify function. If a device contains sensitive data, we can often test power and hardware function without needing personal content.

Do you repair phones and tablets?

We focus on board level diagnostics and micro soldering repair. If your issue is a simple cosmetic part swap, we may refer you to a local shop better suited for that type of work.

Can you fix water damage?

Often, yes. Success depends on how quickly power was removed, how far corrosion spread, and what components were affected.

Do you offer data recovery?

We are not a dedicated data recovery lab. Our goal is to restore hardware function. Data recovery is not guaranteed.

How long does it take?

Turnaround depends on workload, parts availability, and board complexity. You will get a realistic timeline after intake and initial diagnostics.

Do you provide warranty?

Warranty coverage depends on the repair type, board condition, and whether prior damage exists. You will receive warranty terms at approval.

Do you help with fixes, redesign, or mitigation?

Yes. We can recommend mitigation approaches and also support engineering changes like filtering, grounding strategy, cable management, enclosure improvements, and power integrity direction.

Can I ship my electronics in?
